✶ Grand Trine
✶ Grand Trine
Subfolder of: Aspect Patterns · Aspects
Definition: Three bodies each trine the other two, forming an equilateral triangle; usually all in one element.
📐 Geometry
Arithmetic test: Bodies near λ, λ+120, λ+240; name the element (fire/earth/air/water Grand Trine). Every leg must be within its own aspect orb (see the linked aspect notes).
🧭 Reading (modern Western usage)
In modern practice this configuration is read as easy circulation of talent within one element; can indicate complacency unless activated by a square or opposition. Within Astrology Arith(m)etic, read each leg with the book method — body × aspect × body, coloured by sign and house — and then read the figure as a whole.
